Network and security
Secure business networks to empower your people
Connect your people to a single, secure network – including access to servers and printers – no matter how many sites you’re operating across.
Why your network and security go hand-in-hand
As businesses grow and technology advances, networks often become increasingly complex. More locations, more devices and more cloud applications can create operational challenges that are difficult to manage separately.
We bring these solutions under one roof, giving you simpler, more seamless ways to build and manage your tech.

Network and security FAQs
What is a firewall and why is it important?
Positioned between your internal network and external sources such as the internet, a firewall acts as a digital barrier, preventing unauthorised access by monitoring and controlling incoming and outgoing traffic based on predetermined security rules. It can be hardware-based, software-based or a combination of both, and it plays a vital role in any organisation’s IT infrastructure.
Do firewalls cover my network even if I’ve got remote workers?
Yes, our firewalls are well-suited for multi-site, remote and hybrid teams. However, while a firewall provides critical network protections, it doesn’t protect the entirety of your IT ecosystem and you’ll likely need additional cybersecurity.
What’s the difference between MPLS and SD-WAN?
SD-WAN is essentially the more modern, cloud-based version of MPLS. It’s typically more flexible and often cheaper to run.
Do we still need network management if we have an in-house IT team?
Our network management can work alongside your team rather than replacing it. We help alleviate the daily management burdens, handling routine monitoring and maintenance. We can also provide additional IT Support or professional services for fuller management.
Are network and security solutions meant for small or home businesses?
The principles are the same, but the setup should be sized to you. You don’t need enterprise-scale infrastructure, but you still need solutions that match your team size, number of devices and location(s).
