How long does it take for my line to be installed?
The average time required for line installations are listed below. This estimate is from the time the order is placed with our provisioning department to the time an engineer visits your site to physically install the line:

Installation times are subject to Openreach engineer availability in your area and also the available line plant serving your premises.
Extra work is occasionally needed to have the service installed at your site, which might mean the installation takes longer than the above table.
Our provisioning department monitors your installation every step of the way and they’ll be sure to keep you updates throughout the process.
How to identify your number
To identify your line number, dial the automated service ‘17070’ from your handset.
This will provide you with the line number your handset is connected to.
