Once you’ve placed your leased line order we’ll get the installation process moving.

Installation timeframe

The installation time for a leased line varies depending on a range of factors, including your location, existing infrastructure and the complexity of the installation.

We always aim to get your service up and running as soon as we can, but it may take between 30 to 90 days to install your leased line, depending on the specific circumstances.

An engineer will need to attend your site for installation. Depending on the supplier of your circuit, this could be someone from Openreach, Virgin Media, ITS or another supplier.

External works and cabling

In most cases, all the external work is completed before the install, except for any equipment that needs to be connected post-install.

The engineer will attend your site to get the fibre cable to your termination point and install the supplier equipment ready for you to install our router.

Testing and completion

Once the fibre has been installed, we need to allow approximately 10 working days for testing. Once the testing is complete and you have connected the router you should be able to use the circuit.

Router delivery and setup

We’ll arrange for your router to be shipped to the site once we get a confirmed appointment for the installation. We’ll aim to have this at the site prior to installation, but the router will only need to be connected once we get the handover from the supplier.

If you need help setting up your router, please follow the steps in our video guide below

Billing

Once your service has been delivered, you’ll be charged from the date the circuit is handed over by the supplier.
